Science

Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry grounded the Star Trek series in real scientific principles, theories, and extrapolations. Star Trek: The Exhibition builds on this tradition by using Star Trek’s imagined future to teach real science topics such astronomy, cellular/radio communications, quantum physics (relativity), and space travel (inertia, rocket propulsion)

Culture

Roddenberry envisioned a universe without prejudice where men and women of all races could work as equals dedicated to one mission. Star Trek the Exhibition captures the incredible range of possible life in the universe as imagined by Star Trek’s writers and artists. Visitors can examine the award-winning design and craftsmanship in some of Star Trek’s most amazing alien creatures and costumes, including Klingons, Romulans, Cardassians, Borgs, and of course, Vulcans.

History

Above all else, Star Trek: The Exhibition celebrates creativity, imagination, and courage. Every Star Trek series is replete with exploration and explorers, men and women who go beyond fear and perceived boundaries to find and connect with new worlds. But for every Kirk, there is an Armstrong; for every Scotty, there is an Einstein; for every Bones, there is a Pasteur. The Exhibition brings Star Trek’s characters to life and reminds us of the real life scientists and explorers in our midst.
